HOLDING SPACE FOR PREGNANCY LOSS Webinar via ZOOM
This workshop is intended for those interested in creating a grief/support group for those who have experienced pregnancy loss, from conception through early infancy.

​Guest educator Dani LaVoire, LM, CPM with 20 years midwifery experience will guide participants through a heartfelt analysis of three key components central to holding space for grieving families:
  

1.  An introduction to the Companioning Model of Care outlined by Alan Wolfelt.
2. An exploration of best care practices with regard to the various support networks surrounding bereaved people.
3. A cross-cultural understanding of the healing power of ritual found in both religious and secular settings.

Participants will leave this workshop with sharpened skills and confident hearts when serving families struggling with this difficult loss. So many care providers feel they don’t know what to say when meeting with families who have lost children or are facing infertility and miscarriage. This class will help to shrink that fear allowing the care provider to confidently guide the family toward a satisfying grief process.
