Nancy Jacobsen, Treasurer 2023-presentNancy worked in Silicon Valley at various hardware and software companies for 25+ years. After the dot-com bust, she became an entrepreneur and ran a small business for a number of years until she retired in 2013. Since then she has volunteered for some dog rescue groups and a low-income medical clinic in San Francisco. After recovering from several bouts of cancer, Nancy got involved with the California campaign to legalize medical-aid-in-dying. She volunteered with Compassion & Choices for several years, lobbying the California legislature to pass the End-of-Life-Options Act. She and another volunteers drafted a Resolution in support of EOLOA, passed by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. During the Covid pandemic, Nancy moved from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills, to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. She likes to hike, walk her dog, read and garden. She is pleased to be a end-of-life doula trainee and the new Treasurer for Full Circle Living and Dying. |
