Recent Past Event - Death Discussion & Exploring Options: What Happens to our Bodily Remains?
Full Circle Living & Dying Collective is committed to educating the public about choices regarding end-of-life issues. When completing legal documents about after death care, funeral arrangements and choosing what happens to bodily remains, most people consider Green Burial or cremation. In this interesting educational event we will discuss several surprising options for sending off our last physical remains (Crestone End-of-Life Project, mushroom suits, composting, intriguing distribution of cremains and more).
Our Host: Community Death Educator, Nandi Szabo
As usual, our Nandi Szabo held an amazing informative event with a nice turn out of participants. We viewed short video clips followed by discussion, and learned about: Crestone Open Air Cremation, Composting Human remains, Mushroom Death suits, Organ Donation vs Whole body Donation, Promession and more. The presenation was well received by our ever active audience of curious minded individuals. Nandi teaches “The Psychology of Death and Dying” at Sacramento City College and is a Creative Arts Therapist. She has been hosting educational talks for Full Circle Living & Dying Collective since 2014.
