Last year, Full Circle of Living and Dying
received an offer to share office space at 524 Brunswick Rd., Grass Valley from Carolyn Seyler, Executive Director of One Source Empowering Caregivers (OSEC). We were so grateful to finally have some office space and to share with the outstanding OSEC nonprofit. Our relationship has blossomed and we feel so fortunate to have Carolyn with her excellent background and experience accept a position on our board in 2022! |
Carolyn Seyler, CoreCircle VolunteerCarolyn has over 45 years of courageous leadership and experience in nursing, community health, long -term and skilled nursing care. She has worked with most of the larger corporations throughout the State of California as the Statewide Quality Assurance Clinical Director, traveling up and down the State inspecting, educating, and supporting Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. She is a recognized leader in emotional intelligence, equity, inclusion, meditation, and resilience. Her BSN in nursing is from the University of San Francisco and she has a Masters degree in Health Education from San Francisco State University.
Carolyn comes with a wealth of program innovation, including a private consulting practice in the area of Continuing Care, Licensing and Certification and Senior Care Management. She has worked in both the profit and non-profit sectors including Hospice of the Foothills where she was the Director of Clinical Services. Special areas of unique expertise include: assisted living building design, licensing, marketing and start up. Currently Carolyn also serves as the Executive Director of One Source-Empowering Caregivers, a non-profit in-home caregiver support organization. Carolyn leads the efforts to bring the in-home caregivers assistance as a person-centered counselor. Certified by Boston University, she works with mindfulness to reclaim joy and well-being in caregivers everyday lives. |
