-Full Circle of Living and Dying to host Death Cafe! Coming June 26, 2024 ​

Death Cafe-  is an international movement that brings friends and strangers alike together "to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their [finite] lives."

At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. It is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

Full Circle Living & Dying Collective  hosted Nevada County's first Death Cafe in November 2013. 

A Death Cafe is an accessible, respectful and confidential space with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action.

 The Death Cafe model was developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz. It is with respect for their vision that we at FCLD strive to abide by their concepts.
