Our Beginning

Our Living and Dying work began immediately after our founders received training in post-death care for in-home funerals. The founders were deeply moved to share new knowledge about unimaginable death options. 
Over the years we have advocated for natural green burial, created positive working relations with our local hospice, mortuary, cemetery district, and have become known as specialists in the wide spectrum of death topics. We handle calls nationwide!

Many individuals seek meaningful ways to support causes close to their hearts while optimizing their tax strategies. One often overlooked avenue for philanthropic giving is through Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs).

In 2024, individuals who are 70½ years old or older may use a QCD to donate up to $105,000 to qualified charities directly from an IRA without incurring taxable income on the distribution. A qualified charitable distribution is not included in your taxable income (QCD details).

Donors can schedule their donations monthly, quarterly, or at the end of the year through their financial institution. These donations enable us to continue providing quality compassionate care to patients and their families during their end-of-life journey.
