A HUGE THANK YOU to all who attended Nandi's community education workshop on Sunday: Creating a Death Care Plan: Exploring Unconventional Options. This event was well attended (nearly 50 visitors!) and Nandi guided us in exploring ideas, resources, documents and group discussion. We received rave reviews!

End-of-Life Care

 Though our local mortuaries have wonderful funeral planning guides there is much more to consider in planning for death.  Being informed, considering what we may want, not only after we die but also as we move closer to death, and conveying it to those we love and who may accompany us on the journey, is a great act of empowerment.

​In this workshop we  will use a unique set of questions to provoke discussion of end-of life and after death care, which may not be based on or conforming to what is generally done or believed.

Unconventional After Death Care

​We are all going to die someday.  Regardless of age or health status or if you know you may be accompanying a person who is dying, now is the time to identify, convey and share your thoughts and feelings.  We have choices… may we honor and celebrate them!
