Our guest speakers will discuss MAID and VSED from both the legal and practical stand points. Details of the End-of-life Option law and processes to prepare for and request medications if you qualify will be covered. Other options such as VSED will be covered.
Discussion will include the emotional and psychological effects of these choices. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. Hand-outs will be provided.
Both Dr. Banister and Dr. Windz have been involved with MAID since it became legal in 2016. They are active members of the American Clinicians Academy for Medical Aid in Dying and also have many years of involvement with Compassion & Choices.
