CMA Medeiros, End-of-life Doula, Past Board Member, FCLD Volunteer

Born in Quebec, Canada, this European-ish province served as a launching pad for living, studying and working across North America, Latin America, and England. CMA Medeiros completed Master’s degree in a cross-disciplinary program that includes studies in non-profit, public and business administration alongside a Humanities degree, which was the perfect canvas for this renaissance woman, or “multipotentialite.” The unifying thread that links CMA’s diverse professional background in corporate and non-profit management, marketing and communications, learning and development, and most recently, philanthropy is <<Community>>.
She started off coaching "CommUnit-e Development," to conduct collaborative knowledge creation and continuous improvement for globally dispersed teams in a multinational company. She moved to England (just because) and taught computer and internet skills to refugee families, sponsored by the European Social Fund and local municipal partners. Back in the USA, she worked at the Smithsonian’s/National Zoo’s Center for Conservation Education and Sustainability improving workflows for team doing research in Africa and Peru. She circled back to her homeland of Quebec (it’s still there) and started up a foundation aimed at improving health and well-being in English-speaking communities of the French-speaking province.
CMA Today
From big picture to brass tacks, CMA serves as a neutral, albeit energizing, full-of-life-filling “thought partner” fluid in creative and holistic thinking to help you MAXimize your work in personal / social good and ORGanize actions moving forward.
She enjoys guiding individuals and small groups in Emergent LearningTM to experiment and package a-ha’s that mark progress you can see and celebrate. Avoid doing extra work and make problem-solving fun by fitting in tests during work you had already planned to do (that's efficient!). The a-ha’s can be used, reused, and recycled to empower up- and down- line partners to leap frog and enjoy next-level learning (and that's co-efficient!, lol).
CMA is also an End-of-Life Doula, and currently compelled to help folks sort out wants and needs when it comes to end-of-life planning, to bring greater serenity to Self and Loved Ones.
She strongly believes:
“To live well while dying,
One *plans* how
to die well while living.”
