Companions for Pregnancy Loss & Infant Loss

Our goal is to open the conversation about fetal and infant death. To offer support in all stages of pregnancy loss, from the onset at home or hospital and throughout the birth and death of the fetus/baby.

Our team of Midwives and End-of-life doulas strive to make sure no person is alone during times of birth and death. We can be there.

We provide resources, and assistance for you to understand options and rights in order to make informed decisions prior to or after pregnancy loss. For example: Did you know a "miscarriage kit" is available and helpful during the process of miscarriage. (See kit.)

We also offer supportive post-death care and empower you to find the proper way to care for yourself, baby and other family members.

Grief Support

Our midwives work with moms at any stage of pregnancy and loss - at home, clinic or hospital.

We believe in the power of supportive companioning throughout birth, death & grief. The silence surrounding pregnancy loss needs to be broken.

We offer grief support at any stage-
hours, days or years after the loss.

Remembrance after miscarriage

Each birth and death is unique. If miscarriage happens quickly, spotting may be the first sign.
(more helpful information).

If you have time you may want to catch the fetus and take time to hold private ceremony for this time of loss.

Creating remembrances and ceremony at any time after date of loss may be helpful in acknowledging the birth/death. Use your own intuition, faith traditions, spirituality and love to guide you. Or call our trained midwives and EOL doulas for guidance.
