One of Nancy's proudest achievements was her advocacy for the right to die with dignity and the passage of California's end of life option which she and other California residents will be able to utilize.

We are deeply saddened by the death of our friend Nancy. She lived through three events of cancer in her life and yet continued to be in service to community for better end-of-life care.  

Nancy worked in Silicon Valley at various hardware and software companies for 25+ years. After the dot-com bust, she became an entrepreneur and ran a small business for a number of years until she
retired in 2013. Since then she has volunteered for some dog rescue groups and a low-income medical clinic in San Francisco.

After recovering from several bouts of cancer, Nancy got involved with the California campaign to legalize medical-aid-in-dying. She volunteered with Compassion & Choices for several years, lobbying the California legislature to pass the End-of-Life-Option Act. She and another volunteers drafted a resolution in support of EOLOA, passed by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

During the Covid pandemic, Nancy moved from the Bay Area to the Sierra Foothills to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. She loved to hike, walk her dog, read, and garden.
