About this virtual presentation: Recompose is an ecological death care company based in Seattle, Washington. Recompose is the first funeral home to offer the process of natural organic reduction, also known as human composting, which gently transforms human remains into soil after death. The presentation will include guest speakers and time for questions.
First, Recompose outreach manager Anna Swenson will cover the science behind the NOR process, the history of bringing Recompose to life, the importance of greener death care options and the status of AB501 - to legalize Natural Organic Reduction options in California. And...
Jenifer Bliss President of Felix Gillet Institute, wife of the late Amigo Bob, will also join us and to speak about Recompose and her experience of human composting. The Felix Gillet Institute 501(c)(3) an educational nonprofit, is "Dedicated to the appreciation, preservation and propagation of edible and ornamental heirloom perennials from the Sierra."
